Eva Langston got her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Mathematics from the College of William and Mary in Virginia before moving to New Orleans to do Teach For America. During Katrina evacuation, she won Richmond Style Magazine's annual short story contest, which encouraged her to quit her job teaching high school math and concentrate on writing. She is currently getting her MFA in Fiction through UNO's Low Residency Program and working as an orthodontic assistant and SAT tutor. She also loves cake. Click here to see some of Eva's writing.
